This fascinating travel program will be led by Professor Emeritus William Hanson of the University of Glasgow. Hanson taught archaeology there for 40 years and became Professor of Roman Archaeology in 2000. The focus of his research is on Roman frontiers, and he is one of the foremost experts on Roman sites in Britain, most especially Hadrian’s Wall and the Antonine Wall.
